Cheong Hing Store was establsihed in Hong Kong in 1917, and it has been more than a hundred years since then. In the 1940s, Cheong Hing operated as a restaurant selling groceries. In the 1960s, it was moved to the Cheong Hing Mansion on Humphreys Road as a ground shop and a basement, mainly engaged in the sale of perfumes, cosmetics, wine and cigarettes, becoming an ideal shopping store for many celebrity merchants at that time.
